This is a blog that attempts to deliver positivity through (hopefully humorous) illustrated tips, stories and cakes. Mostly I am writing advice to myself because I'm really good at being not positive. Hopefully this will inspire me to choose to have more good days than crappy ones. Perhaps it will help you too.

Also, there are no goldfish in this blog.



My name is Sachi. Here's a picture of me:

I'm currently 23 years old and living in Southern(ish) California. I've spent a lot of my life taking things way too seriously. I got well acquainted with anxiety and depression and became an expert at turning any day into a bad day.

But being miserable all the time gets old, real fast. So I've been trying to change things up by choosing to be more positive and happy. I assure you, this hasn't happened overnight and I’m not constantly filled with endless joy and optimism.

It’s an ongoing process, but as I continue to live life, I’m learning all sorts of little things that can make quite a difference in my mood and outlook. You know, self-help sort of things.

Good Day Goldfish is a place for me to share these things with you, hopefully in a way you’ll find amusing rather than preachy. So if you like self-acceptance, self-improvement, and jackalopes, you’ll likely enjoy this blog.
